The following athletes set new records: Dylan Crafford (discus and shot put), Riandi Stander (shot put), Julia Milachowski (javelin and shot put), Xavier Olivier (high-jump), Jaydee Barnard (javelin), Naledi Booysen (javelin), Ethan van Eeden (100m) and Dylan Stander (100m, 200m and long-jump).
The Red team triumphed over their Blue opponents and also received the trophy for the team with the best spirit.
The top athletes in the respective age groups were: Zimran Manuel (boys u/14), Jaydee Barnard (girls u/14), Lukhanya Siwisa (boys u/15), Julia Milachowski (girls u/15), Dylan Crafford (boys u/16), Faith Gosling (girls u/16), Ethan van Eeden (boys u/17), Michaela Mullins (girls u/17), Dylan Stander (boys u/19) and Shannon Godwin (girls u/19).
"We are very proud of our athletes' performances and think they did exceptionally well. Congratulations to all!" said headmaster Mike Lourens.
