Over R6 million in drugs seized from OR Tambo

NATIONAL NEWS - More than R6 million in drugs have been seized in separate busts at OR Tambo International Airport over the past few days.

Last week, a passenger who had disembarked from a flight from Kenya, tried to slip through customs with a backpack containing crystal meth valued at over R4 million.

In another bust last week, two people were taken into custody after it was found they'd swallowed 91 containers with cocaine in them.

In a separate incident on Saturday, South African Revenue Service (Sars) officials intercepted cocaine worth more than R1 million.
