KNYSNA NEWS - An avid cyclist from Johannesburg, Vusi Sindayi, has been on a cycling tour from Musina to Cape Town to raise funds for 10 000 school shoes.
The tour started on 13 April and ended on 23 May.
Sindayi works in partnership with the company Barefoot No More that recycles plastic and turns them into school shoes.
In turn, Vusi has been collecting donations from donors all around the country to help 10 000 schoolchildren receive pairs of school shoes.
It took him 37 days to complete the 3 257km cycling tour through the length of the country.
