PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Two neighbours living at Formosa Garden Village (FGV) in Plettenberg Bay proudly show off the indelible ink on their thumbs, the sign that their ballot had successfully been cast during a special voting session today (Monday 27 May).
Marina Niven (88) and Annette Dreyer (86) were part of 160 residents at FGV who were registered to cast a special vote, two days before the General Election on Wednesday 29 May.
“We were very happy to have voted,” said Niven… “and the IEC organised it very well.”
The IEC set up the voting station in the lounge area of FGV and coffee and tea were provided to residents by management of FGV while they waited their turn to cast their ballots.
