PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Following the cancellation of the past two years' festivals, Plett Rage organisers are positive that the Class of 2022 will be able to enjoy the opportunity to let their hair down.
Plett Rage organisers announced that this year the annual festival is set to run from 2 to 8 December and will return to the original format of a week-long programme.
In the preceding two years, organisers had changed the format in the hope that the festival could take place.
Following President Cyril Ramaphosa's recent announcement that the national state of disaster will only be extended one final time, chances seem good for the festival to go ahead this year.
"With restrictions finally being lifted and the world finding its balance again, this year, Plett Rage 2022 will be a celebration like no other. This year Plett Rage will return to being the week-long festival we all know and love, spanning seven days," organisers said in a statement.
More details will be made available in the coming weeks.
Pre-registration for the event was also opened on 6 February - which means that those who have registered will have access to "early bird" tickets at a reduced price.
More information is available on the Plett Rage Facebook page.
