GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - With the annual Buffalo Rally in full swing and bikers coming from all corners of the country, various roadblocks across the province were held yesterday, Thursday 11 April.
During a roadblock held by provincial traffic and the police on the N2 near the Far Hills hotel 145 vehicles were stopped.
Of the vehicles stopped, five were declared not road worthy. Fines to the value of R25 900 were handed out and 52 alcohol tests were performed.
Five vehicles were found with illegal number plates.
