KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna Municipality has appointed a service provider to deal with recycling in the municipal area.
The municipality announced the appointment on Friday in a notice informing Knysna residents that DM Recycling Waste Management has been appointed as the new recycling service provider.
On Monday, Acting Knysna Municipal Manager Dawid Adonis also announced the appointment of DM Recycling Waste Management.
“Our municipal recycling centre is now closed,” he said. “We request that residents make use of the service provider’s facility at T21 Hadeda Street in the industrial area to dispose of recyclable materials.”
Adonis said the municipality is exploring options to involve the private sector in its efforts to promote recycling and reduce waste.
