KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna Municipality has confirmed today, Tuesday 13 May, that the water supply status in Knysna and Rheenendal remains unchanged, with water trucks continuing to provide support to affected areas.
A total of six trucks are operational, providing temporary relief to communities experiencing interruptions, Knysna Mayor Thando Matika said in a statement.
"This arrangement will remain in place until the water supply system stabilises. Two water trucks are currently roaming in the Rheenendal area to provide relief. Efforts are under way to bring the Rheenendal water treatment works back into operation later today. We also urge residents to take cognisance of the impact of load-shedding, which may further compromise the stability of the water system," the statement read.
