KNYSNA NEWS - Members of the Knysna Sea Cadets, led by Staff Instructor Jason Witbooi, cleaned the plaques on the War Memorial in Main Road, Knysna, on Wednesday 19 June.

The Cadets who cleaned the War Memorial are Maxwell Stroebel (14), Beradine Beel (17), Khiyaam Grootboom (18), Liam September (17), Larcharne Williams (14), Ronen Terblanche (11), and Bermicha Terblanche (14).

Pupils are trained by the Knysna Sea Cadets, an NPO, from Grade 6, and when they complete Grade 12 many of them either join the SA Navy or find jobs in the maritime sector.
