Installation of energy saving street lights
Knysna Municipality started installation of their new energy saving street lights today, 26 March.

KNYSNA NEWS - Installation of new energy saving street lights started today in George Rex Drive.

This project is funded by the Department of Energy (DoE) as part of the Energy efficiency and Demand Side Management (EEDSM) programme.

The programme targets electricity reduction within the municipal operations, focused on retrofitting existing streetlights, traffic lights and building lights to energy saving devices.
