PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS – Police have opened a culpable homicide docket after four people who were travelling by car died in a collision with a passenger bus on the N2 at Kwanokuthula in the early hours of Tuesday 6 May.
The collision occurred at about 02:20 at the entrance to Kwanokuthula, said Southern Cape police spokesperson Sergeant Christopher Spies.
Under investigation
Spies said reports from the scene indicated that there was a collision between a passenger bus, travelling from Plettenberg Bay towards Knysna, and a motor vehicle.
"All four occupants sustained serious injuries and were declared dead by paramedics on the scene. The 61 passengers of the bus are unharmed," said Spies.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
