KNYSNA NEWS - As is the case every year towards the end of February, Cansa's most popular and fun Shavathon fundraiser took place this past weekend at venues across the country.
Locally, the action was at Knysna Mall on Saturday 24 February under the theme "Loud in colour", as brave individuals had their hair either shaved or spray-coloured in a show of solidarity with those affected by cancer.

Rotary Knysna also came out in support of the initiative, like they do every year, to help raise awareness.
Nwabisa Pondoyi was at Knysna Mall with her camera to chat to some of the participants and find out their personal motivation for taking part.
