GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - Stage 6 load-shedding will be implemented at 05:00 until further notice. This is due to failures of generating units at Tutuka, Kriel, Duvha and Kendal power stations since yesterday. 

Eskom will publish a further update as soon as significant changes occur.

Eskom has urged South Africans to use electricity sparingly during this period. “We thank those South Africans who do heed the call to use electricity sparingly and efficiently in helping to alleviate the pressure on the power system, as this is assisting in avoiding higher stages of load-shedding,” the power utility said.
