GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - SA Weather forecaster Wayne Venter has just provided the following information of what to expect this weekend.
A surface high pressure driving temperatures ahead of a cold front to the middle and upper twenties on Saturday due to berg wind conditions.
This will not be great news for firefighting done in the Knysna, Plettenberg Bay and Port Elizabeth areas. A cold front passes on Sunday with cooler conditions expected. However, not much rain expected.
Warning: Extremely high veld fire danger conditions is expected tomorrow (Saturday) in the Southern Cape including Knysna and Plettenberg Bay.

Saturday: June 10
Partly cloudy and windy with isolated showers and thundershowers from late afternoon into evening.
Min/Max: 10/26
Wind: Fresh to strong northerly to north-westerly (30 to 40km/h), gusty at times.
Sunday: June 11
Cloudy in the morning, becoming partly cloudy.
Min/Max: 12/20
Wind: Moderate westerly to south-westerly.
Monday: June 12
Partly cloudy.
Min/Max: 12/24
Wind: Moderate north-westerly.
