GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Attempts to reach the wreckage of a Cessna Citation jet which crashed near Great Brak River yesterday, will continue this morning.
Rescue teams and police will gather at Friemersheim at 09:00.
The wreckage of the plane was located yesterday afternoon, but bad weather hampered efforts to reach the site in a mountainous area near the coastal town.
Although it is still misty this morning, rescue teams will continue their attempts.
The aircraft, which belongs to the Civil Aviation Authority, left George Airport around 10:00 yesterday and contact was lost with it shortly afterwards.
Spokesperson, Pindiwe Gwebu says there were two men and a woman on board conducting a flight calibration mission of navigational aids for George airport.
The identities of the three have not yet been disclosed.
