KNYSNA NEWS - The 2021 edition of the Dr Evil Classic 3-Day Stage Race took place successfully during the Heritage Day weekend.
The boutique style stage race sold out and saw the 250 riders on the start line at the beautiful Plettenberg Bay Game Reserve on Thursday 23 September.
The arrival of spring timed perfectly with the easing of restrictions on mass sport events for the ninth edition of the event.
Riders put their names in the lucky draw 'hat' to stand a chance to win a Scott bike worth over R100 000, which was won by up-and-coming local development rider from the Kwano Cycling Academy, Anelisa Aries.
The riders enjoyed three spectacular days of racing that took them across the best game property Plettenberg Bay has to offer.
