SEDGEFIELD NEWS & VIDEO - The protest action in Smutsville near Sedgefield is ongoing.
There is currently a protest by Smutsville residents in Sedgefield who are burning tyres at the entrance. No cars are being allowed to pass through.
Police have reportedly fired rubber bullets and stun grenades to disperse protesters and several injuries have been reported.
Businesses as well as the Sedgefield municipal offices are closed.
