KNYSNA NEWS - The resurfacing of Long Street is currently under way as part of Knysna Municipality's ongoing project to improve local road infrastructure.
Work on the road began this morning.
Motorists, residents, and shoppers alike should be advised that sections of Long Street between the primary school and the Main Road will be closed due to the work. This may cause traffic delays, so where possible, use alternative routes through town to alleviate the strain on the road while work is ongoing.
The work on Long Street will continue through tomorrow, 15 December.
In a social media statement, the municipality said that "the improved road will be safer, smoother and will benefit all road users".
