PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - The man accused of murdering Plettenberg Bay teenager Sandisiwe Mona (17) briefly took his place in the local magistrate's court dock on Friday 18 October but the matter was postponed to 11 November for further investigation.
The 56-year-old accused, Motseki Palasi, was arrested last month after the Kwanokuthula teenager's remains were discovered in Ladywood.
She went missing in April this year, but DNA confirmed her identity.
According to police, Palasi was the last person seen with the girl before her disappearance. He also voluntarily pointed out the crime scene.
The incident has since led to several peaceful protests and a petition against Palasi's release on bail. More than 7 200 signatures were garnered and Palasi subsequently abandoned bail.
