KNYSNA NEWS - A number of Oakhill Grade 7 pupils performed exceptionally well in the International Benchmarking Test (IBT) in mathematics and English.
This test was done towards the end of their Grade 6 year (2017), with the results only recently released worldwide. The IBT allows schools to compare student performance internationally, between grades and over time.
The IBT is a high-quality skill-based assessment not linked to any national curriculum. This allows students from all countries to be compared fairly.
The recent Oakhill results indicate that the school is continuing to perform at a superior standard in English and mathematics, with above-national and international averages.
Congratulations to the following pupils for their certificates of distinction and high distinction:
- Max Penrith,
- Tristan Torrance,
- Tristan Vogt,
- Jared Shutte,
- Noah Platt,
- Alida de Villiers,
- Ben Tyrrell,
- Max Hayward and
- Connie Chorley
