Update
PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Bitou Municipality has confirmed that Mayor Peter Lobese and municipal manager Thabo Ndlovo would meet with the protesters at 13:00 this afternoon.
Protest action resumed in the area this morning.
Residents entering or exiting Plett towards Knysna have been redirected via Airport Road as the N2, from the footbridge, had been blocked.
The entrance to the Crags has now also been blocked by protesters.
Unconfirmed roadclosures: Airport Road on Harkerville’s side and KwaNokuthula.
The municipality has warned all residents to be cautious while using the roads.
