The crew, Gino Shelile and Sonke Nxumalo spent two days gathering footage which best portrays Knysna as an up-and-coming motoring Mecca, but instead of only producing the original one programme, the crew gathered so much footage that they were able to produce three segments, which will run throughout July and on August 1. In these programmes viewers will see various Knysna motoring stakeholders, accommodation establishments and businesses giving their perspective of beautiful Knysna as a motoring destination.
The three programmes will be broadcast at the following times:
- Knysna Classic Car Show, including an interview with Marck Cooper, designer and manufacturer of Knysna’s own Cooper Healey -
- Thursday, July 17 at 14:30 and Friday, July 18 at 12:30
- Knysna’s deaf upholster, Nicholas Blaauw and his crew upholstering classic car seats - Saturday, July 19 at 09:30, Sunday, July 20 at 15:30, Monday, July 21 at 04:30, Tuesday, July 22 at 20:30, Wednesday, July 23 at 08:30 and 17:30, Thursday, July 24 at 14:30 and Friday, July 25 at 12:30.
- Knysna as a vintage car Mecca with interviews showcasing the motoring stakeholders and motoring tourism establishments - Saturday, July 26 at 09:30, Sunday, July 27 at 15:30, Monday, July 28 at 04:30, Tuesday, July 29 at 20:30, Wednesday, July 30 at 08:30 and 17:30, Thursday, July 31 at 14:30 and Friday, August 1 at 12:30.
