Jet-ski confusion cleared up
The area is commonly known as the Bay of Biscay.
KNYSNA NEWS - Andre Riley, Knysna area manager for SANParks, cleared up recent confusion about the use of jet-skis on the Knysna Estuary.

"The area just north of the Point slipway is zoned as a jet-ski zone. It is the only area in the estuary zoned for this purpose," he explained.

The area is commonly known as the Bay of Biscay.






This map of the Knysna Estuary indicates where jet-skis are allowed in the area around bouy 7. This map is given to all boat owners when they visit the SANParks offices or purchase their vessel permits.
