Arguably one of the most popular events amongst visitors and locals alike, the event pits local restaurants against each other as they compete in different categories.
This year’s top oysters were presented by Le Sel De Pezula, which took top honours in the Fine Dining category, Tapas and Oysters won the Casual Dining category and Firefly Eating House trumped the evening as the Best Dressed Stall.
Winners were determined during a tasting by a panel of discerning judges, including rugby star and television personality Toks van der Linde, celebrated food writer Sam Linsell and Pick n Pay Chef Source Management Jonathan Moldon.
Along with tasting these very different takes on oysters, guests were also treated to delicious snacks and mini meals provided by Pick n Pay, as well as wine tastings, rounding off a perfect evening.
