KNYSNA NEWSFLASH - This year the car manufacturer Ferrari celebrates its 50th year of existence in South Africa, and for this milestone Ferrari club chapters from across the country and the world will descend on Knysna to commemorate the event.
According to chairman of the Garden Route Southern Equatorial Ferrari Automobili Club (Sefac) Alistair Gibb, this is the oldest Ferrari club outside of Italy.
“We have also invited the Ferrari presidents from 11 clubs worldwide who have already shipped their cars over to join us for the tour,” says Gibb.
The anniversary will be held along with a tour starting from Johannesburg and ending in Cape Town. Gibb says the tour is set to start on Wednesday 27 September, reaching Knysna on Friday 29 September.
