GARDEN ROUTE DISTRICT NEWS - Two sets of drugs destined for George were confiscated at the Tsitsikamma toll gate on Sunday 6 September.
In the first incident a woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs when the passenger bus she was travelling in was pulled over and searched by police.
A total of 13 500 Mandrax tablets with an estimated street value of R700 000 were confiscated and the woman was arrested on the scene.
In an unrelated incident, 155 bundles of khat with an estimated street value of R15 000 was confiscated after police pulled over and searched a Toyota Quantum minibus taxi.
