PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Bitou mayor Peter Lobese is ready to return to work after contracting Covid-19 more than two weeks ago.
On Monday, Lobese spent his final day in isolation after testing positive on 1 July. “It has been a stressful and challenging road to recovery but I believe I have been able to overcome the worst and feel much better. I feel stronger and ready to go back to resume my duties and daily activities,” Lobese said.
He thanked everyone for the support he had received during his days in quarantine. “We are all in this together; we need each other this time more than ever before. Please do the same to others as well. I love you all.”
