PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Plettenberg Bay residents and visitors will have the opportunity to share laughs and tap their feet to smooth beats next weekend with two top-notch acts making their way to the coastal holiday town.
First up is Melanie du Toit, known as "Mel die Storieverteller" – an Afrikaans social media sensation and writer who gained popularity on TikTok and now tours the country with her "one-woman" comedy shows.
With her witty comedic and inspirational videos, Mel started her journey on TikTok and now has more than 260 000 followers. Her debut show Almal is Mal! sold out at the Atterbury Theatre and led to her touring the country.
She will be bringing her new show Dik Deurmekaar!! to Plettenberg Bay on 27 March at Grand Africa Lookout Beach. The show is set to run from 19:30 to 20:30.
Over and above her stand-up comedy, Mel has also gained popularity as a speaker at women's events and also hosts writing workshops.

On 29 March, popular South African band Goodluck will be returning to Plett at the same venue.
The award-winning band will be performing at the Grand Africa Lookout Beach from 17:00 until late into the evening. Tickets are available on Howler.
