KNYSNA NEWS AND VIDEO - Voters have been lining up at local voting stations since early this morning to cast their votes in the national and provincial elections.
Voting stations are open until 21:00 tonight.
Helen Zille made her mark in Knysna, while Minister Donald Grant voted in Plettenberg Bay.
Important information
• Voters receive 2 ballot papers. However, if you are voting outside the province in which you initially registered, you will only receive a national ballot and will not be able to cast your provincial vote.
• Only a green ID book, smart card or temporary ID are accepted.
• Remember that selfies in the voting booths or stations are prohibited. Voters are also not allowed to take photos of marked ballot papers.
