KNYSNA NEWS - Members of the police Garden Route Crime Combating Team arrested an 18-year-old suspect in Hornlee, Knysna, on Wednesday 11 September, on a charge of dealing in drugs.
According to Sergeant Christopher Spies, Southern Cape police media liaison officer, the officers, deployed at crime hot-spots during mid-week operations, went to a house in Dassie Street, Hornlee, and while searching the premises, allegedly discovered 51 Mandrax tablets, "10 halves and 5 grams".
The 18-year-old was arrested and the drugs seized.
The suspect would appear in court once formally charged.
