ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - Wayde van Niekerk and Chesney Campbell have tied the knot during a during a low-key ceremony this weekend.

The South African athletics star took to Twitter and Instagram to share the good news on Sunday morning.

He said: “Can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you @Neshney. So blessed to start this next adventure with the girl of my dreams! I love you!”

The 400m Olympic gold medalist popped the question last year during December and posted a video on Instagram captioning it, "She said yes", showing a ring on Campbell’s finger.
