KNYSNA NEWS - The Pentecostal Protestant Church is hosting an award-winning stage play, Delwersdorp, on Saturday 21 September at the Hornlee Civic Centre, Knysna.
The play was written by Michaela Whaites, and the production is being directed by Nadeem Jeftha.
According to one of the organisers, Marveen Charles, the stage play is a tale about love and resentment experienced by two families, and is set in a small mining community near the Witwatersrand at the beginning of the apartheid era.
She added that prominent local actors will perform in the play, and that it is a top-notch production.
Formalities start at 18:30, and the entrance fee of R100 per person includes snacks.
