GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - For the first time ever George will host a series of organ concerts with some of the best organists in the country attending, so organ lovers take note.
The series will consist of three concerts over a period of three weeks. Every Thursday evening from 24 May at 19:00 the majestic sounds of the organ will be heard in George.
Louna Stofberg from Hermanus will perform in the George Dutch Reformed Church during the first concert of the series. The following week on 31 May, at the same venue, enthusiasts will have the opportunity to hear well-known organist Zorada Temmingh.
The concert series will come to a close on Thursday 7 June in the St Mark's Cathedral with the organ duo Mario Nell and Winand Grundling.
Enthusiasts will know that this is a very rare opportunity to hear so many excellent musicians and organists in George. You will also be glad to hear that there will be a discounted full series ticket for sale.
Those who would like to attend all three concerts can purchase a series ticket for R250, while single tickets are available at R100 per person per concert.
