KNYSNA NEWS - Greatjoy Ndlovu and Luc Detot will soon be showcasing the artwork they conjured up during their time with the Southern African Foundation for Contemporary Art (Saffca) at Entabeni Farm in Knysna.
Since January 2017, Saffca has run an artist residency programme at the farm in association with Axon Properties, to aid contemporary artists in gaining exposure for their work. Typically, two artists work concurrently with residencies at Entabeni, with the one artist hailing from Southern Africa while the other one would, as often as possible, hail from anywhere else on the globe.
The two latest additions to Entabeni's artist residency alumni have been Bulawayo-born Greatjoy Ndlovu and Frenchman Luc Detot. The two artists have been plying their trade at Entabeni Farm for the past couple of months, and now their residencies will be coming to an end with an exhibition of their works at Entabeni Farm on Tuesday 28 May from 16:00 to 18:00, open to all who would like to witness the brilliance of these two contemporary artists. If you would like to attend, you will need to RSVP with Saffca by 27 May to ensure that you are catered for.
You can contact Ruzy Rusike on 072 614 3919 or ruzy@saffca.com for more information or to RSVP.
