Art in the Park a first

KNYSNA NEWS - Saturday morning, November 1 saw Knysna's very first Art in the Park event at Memorial Square across Cozi Art Café in Knysna. Artists set up their easels, painted and exhibited their works on the square outside the Knysna Library.

Locals and visitors expressed pure delight at this display and the opportunity to interact and support local artists and they hope that this open-air art gallery will grow from strength to strength. This space gives artists the opportunity to improve and develop their talents and get feedback.

Artists in all mediums are welcome and they can exhibit their work at no charge on every first Saturday of the month from 09:00 to 13:00.

Julian B, artist and co-owner of the Cozi Art Café, are excited about the future of this venture and would like to remind everybody to diarise this special event. He invites more artists to join and be a part of this special place that will create interest and love for the arts.
