Sedgefield locals are invited to join Lovetostay for a beach clean-up on Sunday July 19 at 11:30 at Myoli and Cola Beach.
SEDGEFIELD NEWS FLASH - In support of Plastic Free July, a Two Hands Clean-Up will take place at Myoli and Cola Beach, Sedgefield on Sunday July 19 at 11:30.
To participate in the clean-up, join Lovetostay at Myoli beach, in front of Pili Pili restaurant.
"All you need are willing hands and 30 minutes - remember to bring anything else you may need to make you more comfortable like gloves, a hat and sturdy shoes, sunglasses etc," said a lovetostay spokesperson.
Lovetostay aims to bring to the Sedgefield the spirit of a Two Hands/ 30 minute clean-up. The concept is to use your two hands for 30 minutes to clean up your world.
There is no better way than to experience Plastic Free July than to collect rubbish from the beach, which will most definitely raise the awareness of the amount of single-use plastic in peoples everyday lives.
