The proposal is aimed at upgrading the green that would eventually act as an amphitheatre and bring back the indigenous garden. The garden will include a scented garden, allowing for a place the blind could enjoy. "Very similar to what is offered at the Kirstenbosch botanical gardens," said Petricia Pieterse, Masithandani mosaic project manager. Jacky Weaver, Masithandani project manager, provided the Knysna-Plett Herald with an overview of the proposal.
