The main aim of the series is not just to award upcoming talent but to identify, nurture and develop new ta-
lent and kids that want to take up surfing as a sport and not just a past time.
Conditions on the day were rather small but perfect for the contestants. World famous for its consistent right hand point break, Victoria Bay is also the ideal place to host a junior surfing event and from a spectator point of view it is also without equal.

The last competition in the series will take place on Saturday (9 March), once again at Vicbay. The kids will again compete in different categories for boys and girls in the age groups u.10, u.12, u.14, u.16 and u.18. Registration is at the Pier from 08:00 and starting time for the first heat is at 09:00. The entry fee is R50.
Medals will be handed out to all the winners in the different categories as well as great prizes at the end of the day.
All kids that can surf are welcome to enter. Or if you are interested to take surfing as a sport, come and see how things are done.
