KNYSNA SAILING NEWS - The Mathiesen Trophy competition was sailed this past weekend in Knysna by 11 boats in favourable weather and water conditions.
In the junior fleet of seven boats, Nyasha Tembo was the winner sailing an RS Tera Pro; Ryan Steenkamp took second place and Tyrin Williams third – both sailing RS Tera Sports.
The open fleet was won by trophy sponsor Colin Mathiesen. Second place went to Jock McConnachie and third place to Declan Nurse who were all sailing Lasers.
The Knysna Yacht Club congratulated all winners and thanked all the sailors for making it a fun weekend at KYC.
