PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - The Plettenberg Bay flag was flying high at the annual Hobie World Cat in Sylt in the German North Sea last week when local businessman Blaine Dodds and his daughter Roxanne sailed to victory.
Organised by ProSail, only the world's best Hobie 16 sailors were selected to compete.
Ten teams from different countries were chosen according to their national ranking and the results of world and continental championships. The teams included sailors from Australia, Brazil, Italy, Denmark, France, Germany, South Africa, Hong Kong, the USA and the Netherlands.
