GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - The Garden Route radio sailing club is having its opening cruise on Sunday 21 January at the Fairy Knowe hotel in Wilderness.
We invite you to join us for a day’s sailing at this lovely venue on the Touws river.
Racing starts at 11:00 and our aim is to complete 10 races.
We have been sailing the R36 Shipmate class since 2003, but recently the DragonFlite 95 has taken the world by storm, and there are four of these sailing at the club.
It is a slightly lighter boat, very easy to transport and allegedly a bit faster… we will have to find out.
We have a club R36 available for you to try out, so please come along and try this amazing hobby.
