KNYSNA NEWS - The A team of Formosa Phoenix rugby club this past weekend won a tightly contested game against Black Warriors, to take third place in this year's SWD Coastal League.
The game was played in Mossel Bay at the Van Riebeeck Stadium, and the final score was 25-17.
For Phoenix, Monté Scholtz (wing), Chumani Williams (centre) and Shemandré Hans (prop) each scored a try. Shaun Jacobs (flyhalf) was successful with two conversions and and two penalty kicks.
