PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Formosa Phoenix from Plettenberg Bay played to a 13-13 draw with Western Tigers this past weekend in a SWD Coastal Division match.
The match was played on Phoenix's home turf, with a huge number of supporters attending the game. Phoenix's points came from a penalty try and two penalties slotted home by Shaun Jacobs.
Phoenix's next game is against Excelsiors at Wittedrift this weekend. After 11 games, Phoenix have accumulated 36 points and are currently third on the log.
Western Tigers, in second place, have 45 points but have played two games more than Phoenix.
Wildernis Super Stars are leading the pack with 58 points after 13 games.
