PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - The Jaguars Rugby Club's A team delivered a commanding performance in their SWD First League A clash last Saturday, thrashing Knysna United 45-5 to maintain their perfect home record. 

This victory was sweet revenge for their first-round loss against Knysna earlier this season.

The home side turned in a clinical display flair, with their tight five laying the platform for a loose trio that ran rampant across the field. 

Jaguars' blend of structure and expansive running rugby, often referred to by fans as their "champagne style", was on full display, much to the delight of the local supporters.

Knysna, who edged the Jaguars in their previous meeting, struggled to find momentum throughout the match and were left chasing shadows as the hosts ran in multiple tries with pace.

With their away form under scrutiny this season, Saturday's performance was a timely confidence boost ahead of their crucial upcoming fixture against Maoris. 

Jaguars will be looking to translate their home success into their first away win of the campaign.

Supporters once again filled Neverland in full voice, providing an electric atmosphere that lifted the team. 

Jaguars club officials praised the continued loyalty of the fans and hope the travelling faithful can help energise the team on the road as well.

Earlier in the day, the Jaguars' B team also notched up a 21-0 win over Knysna.
