KNYSNA NEWS - Local rugby sensation and member of Titans Women's Rugby Academy, Ruzanne George, recently became the latest in a growing line of Knysna rugby players to represent South Africa.
George, who hails from Concordia, joined long-time Springbok Women's 7s player and Knysna local Mathrin Simmers as well as fellow Titans player Zandile Masuku in the national training squad.
Both George and Masuku ultimately formed part of the Springbok Women 7s A side that played in the International Invitational Tournament in Dubai in November.
Simmers meanwhile co-captained the Springbok Women's 7s team that played in the HSBC SVNS Series events in Dubai and Cape Town recently.
