KNYSNA RUGBY NEWS - While the match between the Stormers and the Southern Kings was the ‘headline’ match of the day, there were two other matches played at Loerie Park last Friday, 17 January.
In the build-up to the Stormers/Kings game, a women’s game was played between two Titan’s Women’s Rugby Academy teams; followed by the famous Knysna derby between Greater Knysna and Knysna United.
Knysna United dominated the first half of what was a short game as they had to be off the field in time for the two main sides' warm-ups.
Despite a stronger second half, Greater Knysna wouldn't be able to catch up to Knysna United who won the first Knysna derby of the year 19-12.

The Stormers vs Kings game of course followed on from the Knysna derby, and this was when the Kings dominated the Stormers to win 13-3.
