To qualify for a Gold Award, learners have to have mastered Mathematics or English work at least two years ahead of their current school grade curriculum.
To achieve this requires hard work, determination, self-discipline and motivation as well as excellent Mathematical or English ability.
Learners who received new awards for Mathematics are Luke Salters (Gr 1), Annabel Kay-Shuttleworth (Gr 5,) Caitlin Smith (Gr 7) and Wandisa Kakaza (Gr 10). Deanna Smith (Gr 4), Demi Knoetze (Gr 4), Ane Bierman (Gr 4), Gina Theron (Gr 6), Kiara Smith (Gr 6), Sanja Greeff (Gr 6) and Rikhardt Bierman (Gr 7) were re-awarded for Mathematics.
Receiving new awards for English were James Kay-Shuttleworth (Gr 2) and Abbigail Minnies (Gr 3), while Sanja Greeff (Gr 6) was re-awarded.
