“We are truly delighted by today’s turn out,” says Nicola Collins, Event Manager.
“It is always a special occasion watching our junior Xterra warriors in action. It is also overwhelming witnessing the spectacular support that our young warriors receive from their moms, dads, siblings and extended family.
"We are really happy to be able to introduce the sport of Xterra to the younger generation and look forward to welcoming them to their very first Totalsports Xterra Lite and Full races in the near future.”
There were three categories in which the Totalsports Xterra kids could compete: 6-8 years (1.5km cycle, 500m run), 9-11 years (5km cycle, 2km run) and 12-14years (10km cycle, 3km run).
