WRESTLING NEWS - History has been made as the city of George now boasts a brand-new SA national wrestling champion. Luke Fogle, a Grade 12 learner at Glenwood House, won gold at the South African National u.20 freestyle wrestling championships in Cape Town on Saturday 24 June.
Fogle's coach at Bear Fight Club Academy (BFC), Robert Harris, said they are very proud of Fogle.
"He worked hard to achieve this goal. This is the first time in history that a learner from a local George school won a gold medal at the South African freestyle wrestling national championships," said Harris.
