KNYSNA NEWS - The Knysna Sport Academy not only assisted with marshalling at the Knysna Bull MTB held two weekends ago, but also had two development riders who performed well during the race.
Over the weekend of 22 to 25 February, Damon Terblanche and Waydon Koopman participated in the three-day stage race and Damon ended 20th overall and Waydon 21st overall in the men’s solo division.
They took first and second in the development division and received SA College vouchers to a combined value of R17 500.
The academy also ran water table one and assisted with race marshalling during the event, and would like to thank Garden Route Events and Constantia Insurance for their assistance.
The academy would also like to give a special thanks to Jennie Stenerhag and her partner Craig Gerber who won the mixed division at the event, and donated R20 000 in SA College bursary money to the academy, to assist youngsters with after-school studies.
